The fine print

About

Medellín Game is a free, open-world game that runs in your browser. It is an early build made by a small independent team: one barrio on foot today, more of the city as it gets built.

It is a work of fiction. Characters, businesses and events in the game are invented. Real places are used as setting only. The game is not affiliated with or endorsed by the city of Medellín, Metro de Medellín or any brand that appears in it.

02

Support

The game needs a recent desktop browser with WebGL 2 (current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari) and a keyboard. If it runs slowly, open Settings in the launcher and turn on low graphics.

If the city won't load, reload the page once: the first visit downloads the city's models and textures, later visits use your browser's cache.

03

Privacy

There are no accounts. You play as a guest, and your character choice, street name, settings and game progress are saved in your browser's local storage, on your device. They are not sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes them.

The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it serves them. We don't run advertising or tracking scripts.

04

Terms

The game is provided free, as is, while it is in development. Features, characters and the map will change, and saved progress may be reset between builds.

Don't copy, resell or re-host the game or its art. You're welcome to stream it and share screenshots.
